  2. I know it is not a lot. But there are previous posts on SOPs, Scholarships, Applying to graduate schools etc.

  3. Thanks.. do keep updating the details of your job search. I plan to come to Columbia next year for MSFE (if they’ll have me, that is).

    Just how bad are things on the job front, now? Each edition of the Economist has a cover that indicates things are worse than last week.

  4. Hey Amber, thanks for helping people out like this….I do have a question…I have heard that the course is pretty rigorous, however are there any opportunities for extra-curricular activities. Are there any quant finance clubs? graduate associations. I see a yacht in your web profile. Is there a yacht club? Lemme knw if you can…

    I saw the link to your blog from the link to your website on the Columbia web page. Thanks for the information you provide. It is really helpful to others interested in the field. I was trying to find the previous posts related on applying, SOP’s, etc but could not find it on your blog. Is it still there?

  8. hey thx alot dude for ur post..provin to be rely informative..tell me how is the life of an fe student as in..do you interact with any indian students from columbia in other depts..are their regular parties..since there are such few indians in fe..ive heard scary stories of how ppl rely get homesick..do u hangout with other columbians pr is it only ur fe friends
